Center Fountain at the Berkshire Mall

Before the upstairs food court was constructed in 1989, the Berkshire Mall had a wonderful light & water fountain in the center of the mall. Below are the few images I could find online. If you happen to have a nice image of this fountain, I would love to see it!… email me at [email protected]

You think that’s cool? There used to be a restaurant upstairs with animatronic characters. Good luck finding pictures of that.

I worked at Gadgets in the Arcade as the Game Room Attendant; great memory’s of handing out tokens to friends and drinking out of Beakers they used as glasses from the bar.

Does anyone have pictures of the Christmas display that was put over the fountain where we would meet Santa in the early 1970’s

The fountain existed for a time after the food court was constructed. I remember that I used to sit there eating and watch the jet of water shoot up over the balcony.

I worked at Athletic Attic in 1979 after working at Thom McAn. The coolest way to see the fountain was riding the elevator to the restaurant above. The lights and varying water displays along with the sound of the fountains were great sitting in those trippy seats molded into the column bases.
