Based on the cars in the photo, it appears to be the early ’50s.

Family Album: A look inside the kitchen of my dutchy Berks County ancestors in the late 1950s. Pie, milk and beer on the table, just a few of the essentials for any gathering. The old Central Catholic High, formerly Luden Mansion. Built by candy baron William Luden and dubbed "Bon-Air" in 1922. Became Central Catholic High in 1939 which closed in 2013 - abandoned since. Redevelopment of this property is still in the works - the developer, Heights Advisors, was granted zoning relief back in November to turn the building into 78 apartment units. The building was most recently adapted into a temporary housing shelter this past winter using some of $400,000 allocated by City Council from the American Rescue Plan Act. Remember when Schell's iconic sign on 5th street had the little guy holding a hotdog and ice cream cone?
